Our Client is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional/Teacher's Assistant to aid children with autism and intellectual or developmental disabilities. The Teacher Assistant will support staff and behavioral coaches to redirect students and provide academic, emotional, behavioral support

AVAILABLE HOURS
* School hours: Monday-Friday
* No weekends

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* A passion for serving special needs and developmentally challenged children; and the ability to have patience and understanding
* Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED. An Associate's Degree/60 college credits (preferred)
* Minimum of (six) 6 months' experience working with children in a school setting
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, peers, parents and staff members.
* Ability to work without direct supervision
* Current CRP, First Aid
* Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
* Finger Print Clearance Card
